Reagan County ISD will have a 10:00a.m. start on Thursday February 3rd. No busses will run. We will continue to monitor the weather and post any changes.

Reagan County High School had three students test positive for Covid on 1/31/2022. We will send another notification to the parents of students that feel their student may have been in close contact. We will continue to clean and follow all safety procedures.

Reagan County Middle School will be having a Valentine's Day Dance on February 11th from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. for students in sixth through eighth grade. A meal and snacks will be provided. The dance will be held at the middle school. The dance is free of charge.

RCES had a staff member test positive for COVID-19 this afternoon. They have now quarantined but were campus this morning. All has been disinfected and if we feel that your child may have been in close contact we will contact you separately. If you have any questions please contact the office. Thank you.

Congratulations to Mercedes Narvaez on receiving a $500 scholarship from HEB for the Rise and Teach conference held in San Angelo! Rise and Teach is for aspiring educators. Mercedes had to submit an application and essay for her scholarship entry. Her plan is to attend Temple College to later become a music educator. Great job, Mercedes!!

Reagan County ISD has made updates in our COVID 19 Policy. Updates include allowing students and staff to return to school after five days while recommending wearing a mask aligned with CDC guidelines. We are also not requiring students in the same household with COVID-19 to quarantine if they are symptom-free, with the recommendation of wearing a mask until everyone in their home is well. We will continue to monitor our COVID-19 policy and make changes in the best interest of students and staff.

Reagan County Middle School has had a student test positive for COVID on 1/26/2022. We will send out a additional notification to the parents of students that we feel may have been in close contact. We will continue to clean and follow all safety procedures.

RCES had a staff member test positive 1/21/22. They have not been on campus since Thursday and all disinfecting procedures have been followed. If we feel your child might have been in close contact we will reach out to you separately. If you have any questions please contact the office. Thank you.
