Reagan County ISD UIL/COVID-19 Extracurricular Activity Guidelines
• We understand support by parents and fans is an important part of these activities. We also understand that to continue to have these activities there are specific guidelines we must follow.
• Students in grades PK-5th, as well as pre-school age children will be required to be accompanied by an adult and remain seated with an adult.
• Students in grades 6th – 8th will be required to be accompanied by an adult to be admitted to the event.
• All spectators will be required to perform a self-screening process prior to attending all events.
• All spectators will be required to maintain proper distancing and/or wear a face covering.
• The stadium and gymnasium capacity will be limited to 50% of the maximum seating capacity.
Please help stop the spread of COVID-19. If you have been in close contact with someone that has tested positive for COVID-19, please do not attend any school related activities or athletic events. Current public health and Reagan County ISD requirements include self-monitoring of symptoms and exclusion from all public settings such as school and/or school activities for 14 days since the last known exposure. If you experience symptoms of COVID-19 then it is recommended you should seek medical advice and isolate yourself from others for 14 days. A negative test result during the 14-day self-monitoring period does not suffice to shorten this required quarantine period. Thanks for helping keep our students and staff safe!
